IIntro: Showcasing the Exchange of Melodies from International String Instruments
String instruments from Spain come together with Thailand’s traditional string instrument, the Krachapi, to create a fusion of sounds.
Concept of the Performance
The performance takes a traditional Thai song, Khang Khao Kin Kluay (Bat Eats Banana), which consists of three sections, and arranges it into a modern musical composition. Thai string instruments, such as the Krachapi, blend with the rhythms of Spanish string instruments, creating a unique harmony between the two cultures.
